Hunter Foster, Arielle Jacobs, Alexandra Silber to Perform Inner Voices

A trio of one-act solo musicals under the umbrella title Inner Voices will feature Broadway talents Hunter Foster, Arielle Jacobs, and Alexandra Silber. The program, presented by Premieres, will play the 30th Street Theater, November 10-December 2, with an opening on November 18.

Silber will star in Victor Lodato and Polly Pen’s Arlington, about a woman examining her conflicted psyche while awaiting her soldier husband to return from war. Jack Cummings III will direct, with music direction by Kenneth Gartman.

Foster will perform in Borrowed Dust, with book and lyrics by Martin Moran and music by Joseph Thalken.
Jonathan Butterell directs this work about a man returning from his childhood home, where he had to claim and bury the body of his younger brother. Music direction will be by Paul Masse.

Jacobs will take on Farhad or The Secret of Being, featuring book and Lyrics by Nilo Cruz and music by Jim Bauer. The story centers on an Afghan girl raised as a boy who faces the abrupt changes of womanhood when she is plunged into an arranged marriage. Saheem Ali will direct, with music direction by Matt Hinkley.
