Holly Golightly will be breakfasting on Broadway this February when Richard Greenberg’s new stage adaptation of Truman Capote’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s debuts at a Shubert Theater to be announced.

Sean Mathias will helm the production, which is set to star Emilia Clarke, best known for her performance as Daenerys Targaryen on the hit HBO series Game of Thrones.

The creative team will feature Derek McLane (scenic design) and Colleen Atwood (costume design). It is produced by Colin Ingram Productions Limited, Donovan Mannato, and Dominic Ianno.

Additional information about the production will be announced in the future.

Set in 1943 New York City, Breakfast at Tiffany’s follows Fred, a young writer from Louisiana who falls for the vivacious and elusive Holly Golightly (Clarke).

Mathias directed an unrelated stage production of Breakfast at Tiffany’s in 2009 at London’s Theatre Royal Haymarket. Greenberg’s plays include Three Days of Rain, Take Me Out, and The Assembled Parties, which will open on Broadway at Manhattan Theatre Club’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre in April.
