Melissa Leo, Zachary Quinto, Frank Wood, et al Set for October 24 Side Man Benefit Reading

Melissa Leo, Zachary Quinto and original Broadway cast members Jeff Binder, Kevin Geer, Michael Mastro, Angelica Torn, and Frank Wood will star in Naked Angels’ staged benefit reading of Warren Leight’s Side Man, to be presented at the Vineyard Theatre at 7pm on Monday, October 24.
Geoffrey Nauffts will direct the presentation, which had originally been scheduled for August 28 in East Hampton, and was cancelled due to Hurricane Irene.
Winner of the 1999 Tony Award for Best Play, Side Man is a tender and poignant memory play about a jazz musician struggling to save both his fading career and troubled home life during the dawn of rock ‘n roll in America.
