Denis O'Hare, who will soon return to Broadway in Elling, chatted with TheaterMania on Tuesday, October 19 at a press event for the show, and shared his thoughts on working on Broadway versus his recent gig as Russell on the hit HBO television series True Blood.

Elling, which will begin previews at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre on November 2, will be directed by Doug Hughes. The play, written by Axel Hellstenius and Peter Naess and translated by Simon Bent, is based on Ingvar Ambjornsen's Norwegian novels and Naess' 2001 film version of them. It focuses on a pair of mismatched friends as they take their first steps in the world after years of living in an institution.

The company will also feature Brendan Fraser, Jennifer Coolidge, Richard Easton, and Jeremy Shamos.
