Clay Aiken to Become Spamalot's Sir Robin on January 18

Former American Idol semifinalist Clay Aiken will make his Broadway debut as Sir Robin in Monty Python's Spamalot, January 18-May 4.

Since appearing on the FOX-TV reality series, Aiken has released numerous albums, including A Thousand Different Ways and Measure of a Man, co-authored a best-selling book Learning to Sing: Hearing the Music in Your Life, and played six sold-out concert tours.

Monty Python's Spamalot has a book by Eric Idle and a score by Eric Idle and John DuPrez. It is directed by Mike Nichols, with choreography by Casey Nicholaw. The show won three Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
