Christine Ebersole Joins Rockers on Broadway Benefit

Two-time Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole has been added to the cast of Rockers on Broadway: Salutes Motown, a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Wingspan Arts, to be held at 8pm on Monday, October 22 at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill (237 West 42nd Street). The show will be hosted by Caroline Rhea; it will be directed by Donnie Kehr, with choreography by Wayne Cilento and Kelly Devine.

Performers will include Jersey Boys stars Christian Hoff, Daniel Reichard, and J. Robert Spencer, along with Darlene Love, Mickey Dolenz, Deborah Gibson, Will Chase, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Tevin Campbell, Krisha Marcano, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Michael Lanning, John Eric Parker, Anika Ellis, La La Brooks, Mark Pender, Kiris Coleman, and Kate Taylor. There will also be special appearances by the legendary songwriting team of Holland-Dozier-Holland and playwright Rupert Holmes, who are collaborating on the Broadway-bound musical The First Wives Club.
