Michael Cerveris, Katie Finneran, Hunter Foster, Marc Kudisch, and Matthew Morrison will be among the stars participating in Play on Broadway, the first-ever interactive Broadway game show, at 7:30pm on Sunday, October 16 at the Roundabout’s Laura Pels Theater (111 W. 46th Street).

Comedian Julie Halston will host the event, which is a benefit for three charities: The Todd Lundquist Benefit Fund, Fractured Atlas, and The Actors’ Fund of America. Lundquist, the assistant director of The Pillowman suffered a massive seizure last summer, and needs continued treatment. He has no health insurance.

Other stars scheduled to participate include newlywed couple Laura Benanti and Chris Barron, soon-to-be newlyweds Kate Baldwin and Grahan Rowat, as well as Michael Arden, Anastasia Barzee, Tituss Burgess, Lori Chase, Didi Conn, Scott Ellis, Merwin Foard, Jenn Gambatese, Alexander Gemignani, Danny Gurwin, Megan McGinnis, Gerry McIntyre, Tracie Thoms and Allison Walla. The evening, to be produced by Susan Vargo, will be directed by Jen Bender with musical direction by Mary-Mitchell Campbell.

In the tradition of great television game shows, Broadway celebrities will play alongside audience members for chances to win fabulous prizes. To date, the event has received over $10,000 in prize donations, including a weekend stay at Chicago’s famous Hotel Monaco (plus two tickets to Wicked at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts), a two-night weekend romance at the Hotel Vintage Plaza in Portland, Oregon, and a weekend stay at San Francisco’s Hotel Griffon.

Tickets for Play on Broadway are $75 (mezzanine), $150 (rear orchestra) and $275 (orchestra, plus admission to the exclusive post-show celebration at Bolzano’s).
