Matthew Broderick to Guest Star on Modern Family

Matthew Broderick — currently starring on Broadway in Nice Work If You Can Get It — will make a guest appearance on the hit ABC comedy Modern Family, according to TVLine.
The stage and screen veteran will play a neurotic friend of Ty Burrell‘s character, Phil.
Broderick has also appeared in the films Tower Heist, Margaret, The Producers, The Stepford Wives, Inspector Gadget, and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. He won Tony Awards for his work in the Broadway productions of How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Brighton Beach Memoirs.
