Emmy Award-winner Carol Kane will star in the Atlantic Theater Company's production of Craig Lucas' new play The Lying Lesson, to run February 6-March 17 under the direction of Tony Award-winner Anna D. Shapiro at the Linda Gross Theater.

Set in a seaside village in Maine, the new work, written by the author of Prelude to a Kiss, Reckless, and the book to the musical The Light in the Piazza, follows legendary movie star Bette Davis, as she attempts to buy the home of an elderly couple.

Also added to the Atlantic's season is Good Television, a new play by Atlantic Ensemble Member Rod McLachlan, will run at Atlantic Stage 2 from May 22 to June 16 under the direction by Bob Krakower. In the work, a line producer for a reality show called Rehabilitation finds her life starting to unravel as she begins to interview the family of a teenage crystal meth addict.

Additional information about both productions will be announced in the future.

As previously announced, the Atlantic's new season includes work by Simon Stephens, Melissa James Gibson, John Guare, and Rolin Jones.
