Matt Cavenaugh, Jenny Powers, Max von Essen, et al. Set for Gatsby: The Songs In Concert

Matt Cavenaugh and Jenny Powers will join Max von Essen, Autumn Hurlbert, and Megan Sikora in Gatsby:The Songs in Concert, to be presented by Unsung Musicals at Signature Theatre’s Peter Norton Space on Friday, September 30 at 7pm and 10pm as part of the 2011 New York Musical Theatre Festival.

Ben West will direct the presentation, which will feature musical direction and arrangements by Fran Minarik.

The concert features songs from the unproduced musical Gatsby, which is inspired by F. Scott Fitzgerald’s legendary novel, and has music by Grammy Award nominee Lee Pockriss and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Carolyn Leigh. The show’s book was by Hugh Wheeler.
