Bianca Leigh will perform Busted: The Musical at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, running Mondays at 7pm, September 26-October 10. Tim Cusack will direct the production.

In the show, Leigh not only recounts the events surrounding her arrest for alleged solicitation against the backdrop of the “Black Monday” stock market crash of 1987, but also looks back at her past and tries to make sense of how a skinny Jersey boy with dreams of becoming a great Shakespearean actress ended up as a high-priced dominatrix.

The show will feature original songs by Jeff Whitty, Taylor Mac and Ellen Maddow, Jeff Domoto, Super Buddha, and Matty Pritchard and Isam Rum, along with William TN Hall, who will serve as musical director.

Leigh’s other stage credits include The Lily’s Revenge, Cornbury: The Queen’s Governor, I, Claudius, Live, and New Islands Archipelago. Leigh may be best known for playing Mary Ellen in TransAmerica.
