Green Day's 21 Guns video picked up three VMAs for Best Rock Video, Best Direction, and Best Cinematography. Beyonce's Single Ladies (Put on a Ring On It), was named Video of the Year, and picked up the Best Choreography and Best Editing Awards as well, while Lady Gaga won Best New Artist for Poker Face and Best Special Effects and Best Art Direction for Paparazzi.
