Nicole Kidman to Receive Gala Tribute at New York Film Festival

Oscar winner and Broadway star Nicole Kidman will receive a gala tribute by the Film Society of Lincoln Center as part of The New York Film Festival on October 3, according to The New York Times.


The Festival, which runs September 18-October 14, will now include a screening of Kidman’s newest film The Paperboy, directed by Lee Daniels, and co-starring John Cusack, Matthew McConaughey, and Zac Efron.


As previously reported, the Festival’s other selections include Life of Pi, Flight, Not Fade Away, and Hyde Park on the Hudson.

Kidman appeared on Broadway in The Blue Room. She won the Academy Award for The Hours and her many films include Nine, Eyes Wide Shut, To Die For, and Rabbit Hole.
