Erin Krom, Nikki Van Cassele to Star in Musical Revival of Side Show

Erin Krom and Nikki Van Cassele will star as conjoined twins Daisy and Violet Hilton, respectively, in Sweet & Tart Productions’ revival of the Tony Award-nominated musical Side Show, to play The Secret Theatre, August 25-September 10. Brad Caswell will direct.

Featuring book and lyrics by Bill Russell, with music by Henry Krieger, the show is inspired by the true story of the Hilton sisters, who were side show attractions, and later vaudeville stars. It tells about how these talented and extraordinary women navigate their feelings, dream of life and love beyond the freak show and long to be like everyone else.

The cast will also feature Joshua Dixon (Terry Conner), Alexander Herrera (Buddy Foster), Vincent McDowell, Jr. (Jake) and Ken Bolander (Boss), along with Sara Abernethy, Andrew Berlin, Ryan Cavanaugh, Matthew Curtis, Michael S. Dunavant, Elisa Fucich, Jenn Gartner, Su Hendrickson, India McDonald, Terry Olear, Theresa Renee, Jim Roumeles, Alyssa Van Gorder, Joshua Warr and Tal Yardeni.

Musical direction is by Jeremy Rafal and choreography by Venita McLemore.
