Don Stephenson Joins Broadway’s Rock of Ages

Don Stephenson will temporarily join the cast of the Tony-nominated musical Rock of Ages, at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, beginning with tonight’s performance, on August 17. He will play real estate developer Hertz, replacing Paul Schoeffler who is scheduled to return to the role beginning October 26.

Written by Chris D’Arienzo and directed by Kristin Hanggi, the musical focuses on a young rocker hungry for his big break and a small town girl who meet in 1987 at a legendary Hollywood club facing its imminent demise. The score includes the hit songs of iconic rockers Journey, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, Pat Benatar, Whitesnake, and many more.

Stephenson’s Broadway credits include starring as Leo Bloom in The Producers, as well as parts in Dracula, By Jeeves, Titanic, Private Lives, Parade, Wonderful Town and Pardon My English.
