Diverse City Theater Company is set to present Warren Bodow's Race Music, at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre,September 3-19. Victor Lirio will direct.

Set in a metropolitan Midwestern city in 1999, Race Music focuses on a young classical music lover who gets rejected from a position as an announcer at a classical radio station because he is black. The cast will feature Chris Ceraso, Brandon Jones, Penelope Lowder, Daniel Pollack, and Teresa Stephenson.

The production will feature sets and lighting by Maruti Evans, costumes by Arnulfo Maldonado, and sound by Elizabeth Rhodes.
