Jason Robert Brown, Jeff Daniels, Debbie Gravitte, and Julia Murney will be among the performers appearing this fall at Birdland, the famed New York City jazz club (315 West 44th Street).

Those performers are part of “Broadway at Birdland,” a series of concerts co-presented by Jim Caruso and TheaterMania.com. It begins with Brown, the award-winning composer of Parade and The Last 5 Years and the Caucasian Rhythm Kings (September 11), followed by the all-female pop quartet The Lascivious Biddies (September 18).

Other highlights of the series include “The Songs of Deborah Abramson” (October 2), Murney, the star of the national tour of Wicked (October 23), Daniels, who will return to the New York stage this season in Blackbird (November 13), composer Jeff Blumenkrantz (November 20), crooner Jack Donahue (November 27), and Gravitte, the Tony Award-winning star of Jerome Robbins Broadway (December 4).

Other artists who will appear at the club, independently of the series, are jazz singers John Pizzarelli (September 20-23), Regina Carter (October 18-21), Tierney Sutton (December 6-9), and Freddy Cole (December 20-23). In addition, bandleader David Berger and the Sultan of Swings will play the music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and other big band-era icons every Tuesday night.
