Patrick Page, Tonya Pinkins, and More Join Broadway Cast of A Time to Kill

The John Grisham courtroom drama welcomes the newest slew of Broadway stars.

Producers Daryl Roth and Eva Price have released the newest wave of casting announcements for the upcoming Broadway production of A Time to Kill, a new play based on John Grisham’s bestselling novel.

The cast now includes Drama Desk nominee Patrick Page (Cyrano de Bergerac), Tony Award winner Tonya Pinkins (Caroline, or Change), Chike Johnson (Wit), and TV actress Ashley Williams (How I Met Your Mother). Dashiell Eaves (A Behanding in Spokane), J.R. Horne (Mr. Popper’s Penguins), John Procaccino (An Enemy of the People), Lee Sellars (West Side Story), and Tijuana Ricks, making her Broadway debut, will also join the previously announced Sebastian Arcelus, Fred Dalton Thompson, and John Douglas Thompson.

Ethan McSweeny directs the courtroom drama, set to begin previews September 28 at the John Golden Theatre in advance of an October 20 opening.
