Radio City Christmas Spectacular‘s Kick Across America Set for August 12

To celebrate the 2010 Radio City Christmas Spectacular, the Radio City Rockettes will perform Kick Across America on August 12.

In addition to the traditional event in front of Radio City, in which patrons in New York are encouraged to kick up their heels with the dancers, similar events will be held in eight of the 26 cities in which the Christmas Spectacular will be performed this year, including Los Angeles, Colorado Springs, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Wichita, San Diego and Fresno.

In addition, the event will take on a digital form through the show’s website, where people can offer a “kick” digitally for charity. If one million online kicks are accumulated, the Garden of Dreams Foundation will send deserving children and families across the country to see this magical holiday production.
