Todd Buonopane, Kathy Deitch et al. Cast in 999 B.C. Readings

Todd Buonopane, from Broadway’s Grease, Kathy Deitch of Wicked and Kevin Reed, who appeared opposite Chita Rivera in The Visit in Virginia, will take part in two free readings of the musical 999 B.C.. These York Theatre Company presentations will be August 3-4.

The musical, which features jazz instrumental of the 1940s and book and lyrics by Bob Larimer, is a humorous take on the biblical tale of Jonah and the whale, which attempts to explain exactly why Jonah ended up spending three day inside the beast. The reading will be directed by Reagan Fletcher and feature music direction by Randy Redd. Also in the company are Cole Burden, Rachael Ferrara, Michael Hicks, Alyse Alan Louis, Jillian Louis, Rodney Peck, and Jacob Pinion.
