The Broadway production of The 39 Steps, currently at the Helen Hayes Theatre, has announced the latest line-up of guests for its series of Tuesday night talkbacks.

Guest speakers will include writer Alan Zweibel (July 7), comedian Eugene Pack (July 14), writer Liz Tuccillo (July 21), actress Rachel Dratch (July 28), scholar Murray Pomerance (August 11), and mystery writers Jeff Cohen (August 18), and Chris Grabenstein (August 25).

Directed by Maria Aitken, the play is a comedic take on Hitchcock’s 1935 classic thriller of the same name about a man who is forced by a mysterious woman’s death into a cross-country race for his life.

The play is adapted by Patrick Barlow, based on an original concept by Simon Corble and Nobby Dimon and on the book by John Buchan. The play won the 2007 Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Comedy, as well as two Tony Awards, and two Drama Desk Awards.
