Leslie Kritzer to Star in NYMF Production of A Letter to Harvey Milk

Leslie Kritzer will star in Laura I. Kramer, Ellen M. Schwartz, and Jerry James’ musical A Letter to Harvey Milk as part of the 2012 New York Musical Theatre Festival Next Link Project, running July 23-28 at the Pershing Square Signature Center.
David Schechter directs the piece, which is based on the short story of the same title by Lesléa Newman. The cast also includes Jeff Keller, Cheryl Stern, Michael Bartoli, Brandon Uranowitz, Michael Padgett, and Sara Corey.
The creative team features Todd Edward Ivins (scenic design) and Ned Paul Ginsburg (musical arrangements and orchestrations).
A Letter to Harvey Milk looks at the friendship between Harry, a retired kosher butcher, and Barbara, a lesbian teacher who runs a writing class, and their mutual bond over the late activist Harvey Milk.
