Adam Lambert’s Trespassing CD Tops Billboard 200 Chart

Adam Lambert, who appeared in the musical Wicked, has topped the Billboard 200 chart with his new CD, Trespassing, according to reports.

Lambert’s second studio album — following For Your Entertainment — sold 77,000 copies in its first week, leading all other CDs on the chart, which includes recordings by Adele, Carrie Underwood, Tenacious D, and Glee: The Graduation Album, which placed eighth with sales of 38,000 copies.

Lambert gained international fame as the runner-up of season 8 on FOX’s American Idol.
