Joan Rivers Wins NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice

Joan Rivers emerged victorious on NBC’s reality series The Celebrity Apprentice, hosted by Donald Trump, thereby earning $250,000 for God’s Love We Deliver. She beat 15 other celebrities, including her own daughter Melissa, and poker player Annie Duke, who was the series’ other semi-finalist.

The actress and comedian has a number of live shows scheduled this month, including gigs at New York’s Laurie Beechman Theatre and San Francisco’s Castro Theatre. She will also appear at Off-Broadway’s Gramercy Theater on Thursday, June 25 and be roasted for Comedy Central on July 26 in Los Angeles, with a television version of the event to air at 10pm on Sunday, August 9.

Rivers recently authored two new books Men Are Stupid… And They Like Big Boobs… A Woman’s Guide to Beauty Through Plastic Surgery and the mystery novel Murder at the Academy Awards.

Rivers received a Tony Award nomination for Sally Marr… and Her Escorts and recently starred on stage and co-authored the play Joan Rivers: A Work in Progress by a Life in a Progress.
