Chevy Chase, Roberta Flack, Danny Glover, Michael Imperioli, et al. Set for A Great Night in Harlem

Chevy Chase, Danny Glover, Michael Imperioli, and David Johansen will host The Jazz Foundation of America’s ninth annual A Great Night in Harlem, to be held at the Apollo Theater, on Thursday, May 20, beginning at 8pm.

Performers will include Roberta Flack, Little Jimmy Scott, Jimmy Heath, Frank Wess, Madeleine Peyroux, Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks, Manno Charlemagne, Davell Crawford, Sweet Georgia Brown & The Blues Crusaders, and more. The theme of this year’s concert is “A History of the Music.” Part of this historic event will be celebrating the 100th birthday of jazz legend Max “The Saxman” Lucas.

The gala concert will benefit the Foundation’s Jazz Musicians Emergency Fund, which assists countless elder jazz and blues musicians in crisis across the country.
