The York Theatre Company's Winter 2014 Musicals in Mufti series, celebrating the work of Broadway lyricist Sheldon Harnick, concludes with a production of Tenderloin, featuring a book by George Abbott and Jerome Weidman, music by Jerry Bock, and lyrics by Harnick.

The 14-member cast features Jennifer Cody (Taboo), Katie Rose Clarke (Wicked), Mark Jacoby (Elf), Jillian Louis (The Dinosaur Musical), Michael McCormick (Elf), Marcy McGuigan (The Divine Sister), Diane Phelan (Camelot), Wayne Pretlow (Jesus Christ Superstar), Jay Russell (End of the Rainbow), Tally Sessions (Giant), Kendal Sparks, Max von Essen (Evita), Debra Walton (The Pajama Game), and Zakiya Young (Stick Fly).

Based on a novel by Samuel Hopkins Adams, the story follows Dr. Brock, a crusading minister who has dedicated himself to cleaning up the vice-riddled section of New York called "Tenderloin."
