Stage and screen star Ty Burrell and wife Holly have adopted a baby girl, according to a report on EW.com. This is the couple's first child.

Burrell can currently be seen as Phil Dunphy on television's Modern Family. Burrell appeared opposite Kelsey Grammer in Macbeth on Broadway. His other stage credits include the Signature Theatre Company's revival of Lanford Wilson's Burn This, Richard III at the Public Theater, and Paul Weitz's Show People at Second Stage Theatre. Among his many film credits are Leaves of Grass, The Incredible Hulk, and In Good Company.
