Lincoln Center Theater’s Platform Series, a forum for public discussion between LCT artists and interested theatergoers, will present a talk with the award winning playwright A.R. Gurney on Tuesday, March 16 from 6:30 to 7:15pm in the lobby of the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65th Street). The event will take place just prior to that evening’s performance of the Gurney play Big Bill at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater.

Admission is free and open to all; however, seating in the lobby is limited and is available only on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 6pm. (Speakers and schedules are subject to change; please phone 212-362-7600 to confirm on the day of the event.)

Next up in the Platform Series will be a roundtable discussion with Domini Blythe, Claire Jullien, and Lucy Peacock, the three actresses who are playing Lear’s daughters in LCT’s current production of King Lear, starring Christopher Plummer. That talk will be held on Thursday, April 8 at 5:15pm.
