Max Crumm is still the one that New York theater wants. (Yeah, we went there.) His last stage appearance was in 2007 in the Broadway revival of Grease, for which he nabbed the leading role of Danny Zuko after winning the NBC competition show, Grease: You’re the One That I Want! – a show that also produced current Cinderella star Laura Osnes. Crumm will now return to the stage as Christian Mohammed Schwartzelberg in the off-Broadway musical F#%king Up Everything, which features music and lyrics by David Eric Davis and a book by both Davis and Sam Forman. The cast will also feature Broadway alums Jason Gotay (Bring It On) and George Salazar (Godspell). Other cast members include Douglas Widick, Lisa Birnbaum Dawn Cantwell, and Katherine Cozumel.

F#%king Up Everything is billed as an old-fashioned boy-meets-girl love story set in modern Brooklyn’s indie music scene. It follows a group of “hipsters” who learn that if they aren’t true to who they are, they screw everything up—the main thing being love. Directed and choreographed by Jen Wineman, the production’s creative team includes Deb O (Set Designer), Melissa Trn (Costume Designer), Joel E. Silver (Lighting Designer), Daryl Eisenberg, CSA (Casting Director), Jeremy Handelman (Producer), Joseph Lavezzo (Associate Producer), CAP21 (Associate Producer), and Lisa Dozier King (General Manager). The show will also feature orchestrations by Matt Hinkley and music direction by Eli Zoller.
