"Each year, Women's Project, the acclaimed Off-Broadway theater company that produces work written and directed by women, takes pride in celebrating the accomplishments of women from the worlds of entertainment and business," said producing artistic director Julie Crosby in a statement. Past honorees include Bebe Neuwirth, Kathleen Turner, Dame Judy Dench, Gloria Steinem, Whoopi Goldberg, Annie Leibovitz and Joan Osborne.

Also on hand for the gala will be Global Brand President of Clinique, Lynne Greene, fashion designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka, and honorary chair Bonnie Pfeifer Evans. The evening will be hosted by columnist Cindy Adams.

She has received three Academy Award nominations, for screenplays for Silkwood and When Harry Met Sally, and Sleepless in Seattle, which she also directed.
