Ryan O’Connor Eats His Feelings to Play Laurie Beechman Theatre in May

Ryan O’Connor, who recently finished fourth in The Oprah Winfrey Network’s Your OWN Show: Oprah’s Search For the Next TV Star, will star in Ryan O’Connor Eats His Feelings for a series of Monday night performances at the Laurie Beechman Theatre on May 2, 9, 16 and 23 at 9:30pm.

Written by O’Connor, the show is a musical journey of the author’s experiences as a compulsive overeater and includes songs by William Finn, Ani DiFranco, Katie Thompson, Scott Alan, Michael Arden, Gregory Nabours and Randy Blair. In addition, each week O’Connor will interview Tony-nominated guests from the 2010/2011 Broadway season.

The show features musical direction by Gregory Nabours, and will feature back-up vocalists Lucas Coatney and Jason Powell.
