The film is directed by Malcolm Mowbray and features a screenplay by Andrew Kole, Andrew Delaplane, and Scott Kasdin. The supporting cast includes Melinda McGraw and Jessie Plemmons.

The film, which is set in the theater district steakhouse Frankie & Johnny, concerns the increasingly frantic efforts of a once-famous stage director to raise financing for a new production.

On February 15, Tambor will join the Tony Award-winning revival of La Cage Aux Folles as Georges. His previous Broadway credits include Glengarry Glen Ross and Sly Fox. His film and television credits include The Hangover and Arrested Development.
