Set in 1977 in the Hill District of Pittsburgh, the play centers on a group of men who drive gypsy cabs, or "jitneys." When the station owner's estranged son returns from prison, their reunion unleashes two decades of brutal, raw emotion.
The production will feature Lawrence James as Becker, along with Gil Charleston, Kwaku Driskell, Barry L. Johnson, Franck Juste, Ivan Moore, Iman Richardson, Terrence Charles Rogers, and Lawrence Winslow.
The creative team will include Brian Ireland (scenic design), Sara Baldocchi-Byrne (costume design), and Porsche McGovern (lighting design).
