Josh Grisetti, Emma Hunton, et al. to Join Rent Off-Broadway

New casting has been announced for the Off-Broadway production of Jonathan Larson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning Rent playing at New World Stages, according to a posting on the production’s Facebook page.
On January 7, Aaron Lavigne will assume the roles of Mr. Grey & Others, and on January 13, Emma Hunton will succeed Annaleigh Ashford in the role of Maureen. Additionally, on January 20, Justin Johnston will take over the role of Roger, replacing Matt Shingledecker, and Josh Grisetti will succeed Adam Chanler-Berat as Mark.
The show is directed by Michael Greif, who helmed the show’s original production.
