Marissa Jaret Winokur Departs CBS’ The Talk

Tony Award winner Marissa Jaret Winokur has departed CBS’ new panel talk show, The Talk, according to People.com.
The show, which debuted in October, features Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen, Holly Robinson Peete, and Leah Remini, and explores current issues through the eyes of working mothers. Winokur contributed pre-taped video segements.
According to People, the decision was mutual. The actress will focus on developing a cable series and her own clothing line, as well as raising her two-year-old son, Zev.
Winokur won the Tony for originating the role of Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray.
