Seeing Place Theatre to Present Hot Cripple and When We Have Gone Astray

The Seeing Place Theatre will present the world premiere of Brandon Walker’s When We Have Gone Astray in repertory with Hogan Gorman’s solo play, Hot Cripple at the American Theatre of Actors, February 3-21.

Walker’s play, featuring direction from Kaitlin Colombo, is a look at the modern-day struggles of three twenty-something New Yorkers in the current economic recession. Walker stars alongside Heather Lee Harper and Joseph Mancuso.

Gorman’s piece, first seen at the 2008 New York International Fringe Festival, chronicles the true story of Hogan, a model turned actress in NYC who was hit by a car and when the hospital found out Hogan was uninsured, she embarked upon a life changing journey that echoes the story of millions of Americans who slip through the cracks of our failing healthcare system. Quin Gordon will direct.
