Arnaz, Busch, Gifford, Turner, et al. to Appear at Barnes & Noble

Lucie Arnaz, Charles Busch, Kathie Lee Gifford, and Kathleen Turner are among the artists appearing at free events at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Center Triangle (Broadway and 66th Street) in February and March.

On Monday, February 4 at 7:30pm, the cast of Off-Broadway’s Gone Missing (Emily Ackerman, Damian Baldet, Jennifer R. Morris, Stephen Plunkett, Robbie Collier Sublett and Colleen Werthmann) will perform and sign their cast recording. Director Steven Cosson and composer Michael Friedman will also be on hand, and all of the artists will participate in a discussion immediately following.

On February 10 at 2pm, Ritt Henn, Jan Hovath and Phoebe Kreutz will appear in conjunction with the Contemporary Folk Music Festival. On Tuesday, February 12 at 6pm, Lucie Arnaz, Kathie Lee Gifford, David Friedman, and Christopher Marlowe will participate in a tribute to late cabaret performer Nancy LaMott. Wednesday, February 13 will feature an appearance by jazz legend Al Jarreau.

On Monday, February 18 at 7pm, Academy and Tony Award nominee Kathleen Turner will discuss and sign copies of her memoir Send Yourself Roses: Thoughts on My Life, Love, and Leading Roles. She will be joined by coauthor Gloria Feldt.

On Tuesday, February 26 at 7pm, Busch will be on hand to promote Die, Mommie, Die! & Psycho Beach Party: The Screenplays of Charles Busch. On Thursday, February 28 at 7pm, composer-lyricist David Yazbeck will perform selections from his new CD Evil Monkey Man. On Friday, February 29 at 4pm, the cast of Pinkalicious: The Musical will perform.

Barnes & Noble will also present cabaret performances as part of its “Any Wednesday” series by Louise Rogers (February 2); Jenna Esposito (February 6); Barbara Rosene (February 13); Barbara Brussell and Tom Andersen (February 20); and Linda Ciofalo (February 25), D.C. Anderson (March 5), and Elizabeth Ward Land (March 12).

Its 6pm “Cool Mondays” series, devoted to jazz artists, will feature Paul Boolenback (February 4), Chembo Crniel Latin Jazz Quintet (February 11), Linda Ciofalo (February 25), Piers Lawrence (March 3), and Sasha Dobson (March 10).
