Joel de la Fuente, Jason Ma, Ching Valdes-Aran, et al. Set for Good Woman of Szechwan Reading

Richard Bourg, Joel de la Fuente, Wai Ching Ho, Jay Leibowitz, Jason Ma, Les Mau, Andy Paterson, Maureen Sebastian, Tina Stafford, Raphael Nash Thompson, Patrick Toon, Ching Valdes-Aran, and Henry Yuk will star in a reading of Bertolt Brecht’s The Good Woman of Szechwan, to be presented by the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey at the the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre on Monday, October 4 at 7:30pm. Joe Discher will direct.
The reading will use a translation by Eric Bentley, and is part of the company’s Lend Us Your Ears script-in-hand reading series. The reading will include live music from the erhu — a Chinese violin — performed by Todd Low. A talk-back session with the director and cast will follow the reading.
