Roger Rees and Alexie Gilmore to Star in Reading of Charles Evered’s Class on September 24

Tony Award winner Roger Rees and Alexie Gilmore will star in a reading of Charles Evered’s two-character play Class, at 2:30pm on Wednesday, September 24 at the Robeson Center for the Arts in Princeton, New Jersey. In the play, which will be directed by Bebe Neuwirth, Rees will play a jaded acting teacher who comes in contact with a mysterious new student.

Rees received both Olivier and Tony Awards for his portrayal of the title role in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby. His other recent stage credits include What You Will and The Physicists, and his many film and television credits include The Prestige, Frida, Cheers, The West Wing, and Grey’s Anatomy. Gilmore starred in the TV series New Amsterdam.
