Megan Fischer, Bradley Greenwald to Lead Children’s Theatre Company’s Buccaneers

Children’s Theatre Company will present the world premiere of Liz Duffy Adams and Ellen Maddow’s musical Buccaneers, running September 11-October 21. Peter C. Brosius will direct.

The musical follows the adventures of strong-and-smart Enid Arabella (played by Megan Fischer), whose bravery is put to the test when she’s captured by pirate Johnny Johné (Bradley Greenwald) after running away from home.

The cast also includes Autumn Ness (Mother), Reed Sigmund (Father), Dot McDonald (Mhina), Emily Hassanzadeh (Bevin), Brandon Brooks (Tom), Haden Cadiz (Tito Orlando), Essence Stiggers (Ayana), Adam Qualls (Lars), Emily Scinto (Artemisia), Caliea Jonessa Koehler (Harriet), Shefali Bijwadia (Begum), Gabe Dale-Gau (Pavel), Roberto Sikaffy (Enrique), and Nicole Akingbasote (Sayyida).

Buccaneers will feature choreography by Joe Chvala, musical direction by Victor Zupanc, scenic design by Joel Sass, costume design by Mary Ann Culligan, lighting design by Paul Whitaker, sound design by Victor Zupanc and Scott Edwards, dialect coaching by Lucina Holshue, and fight choreography by Annie Enneking.
