Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce, Amy Ryan to Star in New Film from Drake Doremus

Stage veterans Felicity Jones and Amy Ryan, along with Guy Pearce, will star in the new, as-yet-untitled movie to be directed by Drake Doremus.

With a screenplay co-written by director Doremus and Ben York Jones, the film will center on a high school teacher (Pearce), who is tempted to cheat on his wife (Ryan) with one of his students (Jones).

Jones is currently starring in Luise Miller at the Donmar Warehouse. Her other stage credits include The Chalk Garden and That Face. On screen, she has appeared in such films as Julie Taymor’s The Tempest and Doremus’ Like Crazy, for which she won the Sundance Film Festival Jury Prize.

Ryan received Tony nominations for Uncle Vanya and A Streetcar Named Desire, and an Academy Award nomination, among numerous other honors, for Gone Baby Gone. Her other film credits include Jack Goes Boating, Dan in Real Life, and Changeling. In addition she has starred in the HBO series The Wire.
