Barrett Foa, Rogelio Douglas, Jr., Tracie Thoms, Darren Ritchie, Brenna Whitaker, and Jessica Keenan Wynn will star in the return engagement of For the Record: John Hughes, to play June 16-25 at Show at Barre in Los Angeles, and will then play a special performance at 8pm on June 27 at City Winery in New York City. Michael Arden will direct.
The show includes include music and moments from such Hughes movies as The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Pretty In Pink, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Weird Science, Home Alone, Vacation, Plains Trains and Automobiles, and Uncle Buck, among others.
Songs featured include “Don’t You (Forget About Me),” “If You Leave,” “Weird Science,” “I’m So Excited,” “True,” “Danke Schoen,” “Twist and Shout,” “Holiday Road,” “Young Americans,” and “Try A Little Tenderness.”
