Broadway star Tony Vincent appeared on the February 20 episode of NBC’s reality-talent competition The Voice during the show’s “blind audition” round, and was selected to be on the team mentored by pop superstar Cee-Lo Green.

On The Voice, contestants auditions for four mentor-judges — Green, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Christina Aguiliera — who can only hear them, not see them, before deciding to put them on their 12-person team. A grand winner will be crowned at season’s end.

Vincent auditioned with Queen’s “We Are the Champions,” which he performed while touring in the musical We Will Rock You.

Vincent most recently appeared on Broadway as St. Jimmy in the Green Day musical American Idiot, and his other stage credits include Jesus Christ Superstar and Rent.
