Jonny Lee Miller to Star in CBS Pilot Elementary

Jonny Lee Miller will star in CBS’s pilot for a Sherlock Holmes reboot, Elementary, according to a report on Deadline.com. Michael Cuesta will direct the show, which will have a script by Robert Doherty.
Elementary will take Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous detective and shift him to present-day New York City.
Miller recently starred in Danny Boyle’s production of Frankenstein at the National Theatre in London and appeared on Broadway in After Miss Julie. Among his film and television credits are Trainspotting, Hackers, Mansfield Park, Eli Stone and Dexter, as well as the forthcoming Dark Shadows and Byzantium.
