Liz Callaway, Debbie Gravitte, Kiril Kulish, Jon Secada Star in Loving the Silent Tears in Los Angeles

Jon Secada and Debbie Gravitte are among the stars of the new musical Loving the Silent Tears, a one-night only production at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on October 27.

Created by two-time Academy Award winner Al Kasha (co-writer of the pop hit “The Morning After”) and directed by Tony Award-nominee Vincent Paterson, the production also features Jody Watley, Black Uhuru, Kiril Kulish, Liz Callaway, Patti Cohenour, Camellia Abou-Odah, Mark Janicello, Liel Kolet, Katie McMahon, Heather Park, Fabiana Passoni, and Siavash Shams.

The work tells the story of humanity’s search for inner piece through the cultures of 16 countries across 6 continents. It features songs by Jorge Calandrelli, Doug Katsaros, Henry Krieger, Don Pippin, Nan Schwartz, and David Shire, and a book by Frank Evans and Cynthia Ferrell.

Bonnie Story will choreograph the musical, with scenic design by John Iacovelli and costumes by Sharell Martin.
