3-D Theatricals Announces Cast for The Wizard of Oz

3-D Theatricals is set to present The Wizard of Oz, October 14-30 at the Historic Plummer Auditorium in Fullerton, CA. Shauna Markey will direct and choreograph the production.

Based on the 1939 MGM movie of the same name, The Wizard of Oz follows Dorothy Gale on an incredible journey that has delighted audiences for decades. 3-D Theatricals’ version of the play was adapted by John Kane for the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1988.

The cast will include Melinda Koen as Dorothy Gale, CJ Porter as Zeke/ Lion, Graham Kurtz as Hunk/ Scarecrow, Ryan Ruge as Hickory/ Tin Man, Tamara Zook as Miss Gulch/ Wicked Witch, Diane Vincent as Aunt Em/ Glinda, Jimmy Hippenstiel as Uncle Henry, David Allen Jones as Professor Marvel/ Wizard, and Nigel as Toto. Matthew Ballestero, Lila Bassior, Abby Bolin, Courtney Burfeind, Michael Cavinder, Jason DeRoest (Dance Captain), Aubrey Elson, Juan Guillen, Jacob Haren, Zibby Lentz, Nicole Manly, Niko Montelibano, Bryan Overmyer, Cynthia Price, Tiffany Reid, and Peter Schueller will round out the cast.

The production team will include musical director Allen Everman, lighting designer Jean Yves Tessier, sound designer Julie Ferrin, costume coordinator Sharell Martin, hair and wig designers Cliff and Kat Senior, makeup coordinators Cindy Wilson, prop designer/set decorator Terry Hanrahan, and flying director Brad Allen, with pyrotechnics by Jeff Marsh.
