Lea Salonga to Appear at L.A. Music Center

Tony Award winner Lea Salonga will appear at the Walt Disney Concert Hall at the Music Center in Los Angeles at 8:30pm on Friday, July 11 as part of its Global Pop series.

Salonga received the Tony, along with the Olivier Award, Drama Desk Award, and Outer Critics Circle Award, for her portrayal of Kim in Miss Saigon. She was also seen on Broadway in the revival of Flower Drum Song, and the original production and recent revival of Les Miserables, and is scheduled to return to the international stage this year in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Salonga has also sung in the animated films Mulan and Aladdin.

The Global Pop series continues at 8pm on Friday, July 25 with a performance by the South Korean group Fly to the Sky.
