Cheri Steinkellner’s Hello! My Baby to Play Santa Barbara’s Lobero Theatre

The musical Hello! My Baby, written and conceived by Emmy Award winner Cheri Steinkellner, will play Santa Barbara’s Lobero Theatre, May 5-6, having completed its premiere run at the Rubicon Theatre. Brian McDonald will direct the production, which features musical direction by Lloyd Cooper.


Set in the early part of the last century on the sidewalks of New York, Hello! My Baby follows Mickey McKee, King of the Song-Pluggers, who dreams of writing the next Tin Pan Alley million-selling hit song.

The cast will include Ciaran McCarthy, Evie Hutton, George Ball, Kristine Zbornik, Rich Hoag, and Tad Murroughs.

The creative team will include Lee Martino (choreography), Craig Safan (arrangements and orchestration), Thomas S. Giamario (set design), Jeremy Pivnick (lighting design), Marcy Froehlich (costume design), Jonathan Burke (sound designer), and T. Theresa Scarano (prop design).
