Fran Drescher, Wayne Knight, Kristen Johnston, Rita Moreno, et al. to Star in new TVLand Series

TVLand has announced plans to bring the new sitcoms Happily Divorced and The Exes to series. Ten episodes have been ordered for each, and numerous stage veterans are involved in both shows.

Fran Drescher will star in Happily Divorced, based on the actress’ real-life former marriage and subsequent divorce, and written by Drescher with Peter Marc Jacobson. It focuses on a woman who re-enters the dating scene after learning her husband is gay, and will also feature Tichina Arnold, John Michael Higgins, Rita Moreno, and Robert Walden.

David Alan Basche, Donald Faison, Kristen Johnston, and Wayne Knight will star in The Exes, about three divorced men who live together in an apartment across the hall from their divorce attorney/landlord. The show is executive produced and written by Mark Reisman.
