DOMA Theatre Company Announces Inaugural Season

By Sarah Moore • Feb 8, 2012 • Los Angeles
DOMA Theatre Company has announced the schedule for its inaugural season, which will run from March through December of this year.

The season includes a line up of six musicals, opening with a revival of the Tony Award-winning rock opera The Who's Tommy, March 23-April 15. Jason Robert Brown's Songs For A New World will follow, May 11-June 3.

In Jekyll & Hyde, The Musical, a well-meaning Dr. Jekyll desperately seeks a cure for evil - but is instead pitted in a cruel battle against Edward Hyde, his own evil alter ego (July 6-29). Xanadu (August 17-September 9) is based on the cult movie of the same name, and follows the efforts of a magical Greek muse named Kira who descends to Earth to help a struggling artist achieve his dream of opening a roller disco.

Once On This Island (September 21-October 14) is the story of Ti Moune, a peasant girl who rescues, nurses and falls in love with Daniel, a man from a wealthy family. In addition, a surprise show that will be revealed at a later date will run November 2-December 9.
